LSHD Sketch Challenge #1 and Packer fan!

Little Scraps of Heaven was having a Sketch Challenge this past week. I was able to sit down and put a layout together for it (last minute of course lol) and I am pretty excited by the turn out! For further details to participate in upcoming challenges be sure to check out their blog HERE.

I've been making some Packer players for custom orders and I'm been itching to create a layout. This challenge gave me the perfect opportunity!

Here is the Sketch....

And..... here is my layout ~
Football player pattern is from the Football Anyone collection at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I just altered the color choices to fit the team I needed.

I would love to hear your feedback about the layout!

Nuts About You!

Another set created for a custom order.

This is actually one entire pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9 titled Nuts About You. I had to break it up into two separate pictures because they didn't all fit in my lense... lol

Here is an up-close of one of the squirrels.

Each item has been cut out with my cricut and then hand-pieced together. I have chalked each individual piece with the coordinating color of chalk/ink pad for added depth.

Keep in mind - you can purchase premade paper-piecings through my store at

I also take custom orders if you don't see something premade - email me with the title of the pattern and what company it is from.

A Toast To Life Blog Hop

Happy New Year!

Welcome to the Toast To Life Blog Hop! If you have hopped over from Ashley's blog - you are on the right track. Otherwise, you can always to start at the beginning with Liz to check the other fabulous projects today!

I have a little mix with my project today. This hop is in honor of the best things in our life - which for me is my family. Everything I do  - revolves around them - including my scrapbooking and crafting. Another thing I would like to "toast" to is my state and how proud I am to be from Wisconsin. Not only because we have a nice mixture of weather but also for the hard-working people that work every weekend by beating up their bodies lol. In case you haven't guessed it.... I'm talking about da' Packers!

First I'm going to start off with showing you my adorable family - sorry these are just pictures.. My project is below...

My ever-so loving and supportive hubby....

My first born - and future scrapbooker...

and my little man - he is the ONLY boy born on my side of the family (between my siblings and I there are 5 girls)

Those are the true JOYS in my life.

Now.... my project..

I used the Football Anyone file from Little Scraps of Heaven and tried to create them around the Packer uniforms. These are so cute to make! I already have 4 orders for these guys and gal lol.

I hope you enjoyed my post today and hope it gives you ideas that you can always adjust colors when using your files.... I sometimes forget that.

Now onto to Barbara's blog for some more fun!

If you get lost along the way - here is the entire line-up.

Amy Jo - http://lv2scrapandfibrofacts.blogspot.com

Sponsor for the hop is Scraptastical Kreations with a $20 gift certificate so please be sure to visit each blog and leave a comment. Thanks
